Senior PHP Backend Developer (Go welcome)

About the project: Mayflower builds next-level live-entertainment. Control team owns the admin panel for support/moderation and regulator data exports.

What we need

- 5+ years with PHP 8.2; comfortable with a custom (Symfony-level) framework

- MySQL expertise: indexes/EXPLAIN, locks, profiling; replication & sharding trade-offs

- REST API design & implementation

- Microservices, Kafka, gRPC hands-on

- Unit & functional (API) testing mindset; PHPUnit/Pest, CI

- Debugging, profiling, optimization of PHP/Go; solid data-structure choices

*Nice-to-have: Go, Elasticsearch, Redis

Responsibilities

- Infrastructure work; build features and optimize the existing admin panel

- Profiling and scaling solutions

- Unit & API test coverage; reliability and performance improvements.

Stack: PHP 8.2, custom framework (Symfony-level), MySQL, REST, microservices, Kafka, gRPC, Redis, PHPUnit/Pest, Docker, monitoring/APM
