Retool Expert (Finance Industry, Azure, AI)

Our client, a new start-up in the finance industry, is looking for an experienced Retool Expert to build an internal-use application as part of an innovative approach within its sector. This is the very first implementation, so we need a professional who combines technical Retool expertise with solution design and UX sensibility.
 

Responsibilities:

• Build a custom internal application using Retool, tailored for the finance industry.
• Set up and manage self-hosted Retool deployment in Azure.
• Integrate with external APIs and data sources (REST/GraphQL) for seamless data exchange.
• Implement data visualization dashboards, charts, and reporting features.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly application interfaces, optimized for internal adoption.
• Provide technical advice on data integration, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and clearly communicate technical decisions in English.
   

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with Retool in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and experience with self-hosted deployments.
• Familiarity with AI integrations (Azure AI, OpenAI via Azure, or similar).
• Expertise in data visualization, APIs, and performance optimization.
• Strong UI/UX design sense for internal applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
