Head of Engineering

Tallium is seeking a technically experienced and highly effective leader with a proven track record in both technical development & management areas for a Head of Engineering/ Engineering Lead/ Technical Director role.

We aim to strengthen the company with an expert who is responsible for the overall technical direction, delivery quality, and development of engineering culture.
Also, determines approaches to architecture, coding, reviews, and implements best practices. 

Required Skills:

- Strong technical engineering background.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in software development.
- Capability to track record of delivering high-quality technology solutions.
- Experience in leadership, mentorship & knowledge-sharing.
- Professional diversity and demonstrated experience in different domains.
- Previous involvement in strategic planning, client communication, and pre-sales activities.
- A high degree of autonomy and versatility. 
- A strong focus on delivering results.
- English - confident Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Expected tasks and KPIs:

  1. Improvement of estimation accuracy.
  2. Reduction of bug ratio in tech releases.
  3. Achievement accuracy in Time Estimated vs Time Actual.
  4. Positive tendencies in code quality metrics (SonarQube, code review rates).
  5. Implementation of innovations (AI, reusable components, etc).
