Lead Unity3D Engineer / Technical Lead

What you’ll do:

- Own the technical vision of all Unity projects – architecture, code quality, performance & security.

- Lead a team of 5–8 Unity developers/artists, mentoring junior staff and driving best-practice adoption (SOLID, test-driven dev, CI/CD).

- Design and implement core gameplay systems, networking layers, RNG compliance modules and integration points with our back-end services (C#/.NET, REST, gRPC).

- Collaborate closely with Product Owner, UI/UX, Art & QA to deliver feature-complete builds on schedule.

- Set up and maintain the Unity CI/CD pipeline (GitLab CI / Azure DevOps), automated build testing and release management.

- Conduct code reviews, performance profiling, and ensure compliance with Slovak & EU gambling regulations.

Required qualifications:

Must-have: 

- 7+ years of professional software development experience; ≥4 years in Unity3D (C#).

- Strong knowledge of Unity’s ECS, DOTS, URP/HDRP and shader programming (HLSL/Shader Graph).

- Proven track record delivering shipped Unity titles (mobile/web/desktop) with >10 k MAU.

- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns & test-driven development.

- Excellent communication in English; Slovak or Czech is a plus.

Preferred:
- Experience leading remote or hybrid teams (5+ members).
- Prior work on iGaming / gambling platforms

(RNG, KYC, AML).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerisation (Docker/K8s).
- Experience with CI/CD for Unity (GitLab, Azure Pipelines, Fastlane).
- Knowledge of GDPR & local gambling compliance.

- Competitive salary €45 000 – 65 000 gross/yr, performance bonus.
