Senior Software Engineer(Node+React) Offline

Our client is a leading digital accessibility company in USA on a mission to achieve digital equality. Since 1999, they have been helping organizations make websites, mobile apps, and digital content inclusive for all users, including people with disabilities. They provide industry-leading accessibility tools, consulting services, and training, empowering companies worldwide to build accessible and inclusive digital experiences. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic developer to make the web a better place. You’ll be working closely with their diverse, fully remote team, primarily working on one of their flagship projects, a tool used by hundreds of thousands of users to find and fix accessibility issues during website development.
 

Requirements:
 

• At least 5 years of total experience working on agile software development teams, with
  deep JavaScript/TypeScript expertise,
• At least 2 years of working directly with NodeJS and React,
• Experience working across distributed systems in different environments (e.g., server,
  browser window, browser extension) and solving complex problems,
• Experience building and optimizing algorithmically complex, scalable software systems
  with knowledge of common web application architectures such as n-tier, micro-services
  etc.,
• Understanding of DOM manipulation, browser APIs, and utilizing design systems,
• Proven ability to implement and maintain multi-step, complex user flows,
• General understanding of SQL for databases,
• RESTful API use, design, and implementation,
• Passion for digital accessibility and a desire to become a world-class expert in the
  subject,
• Strong cross-functional communication skills,
• Experience with creating and reviewing technical proposals.
• Basic secure Web programming knowledge and experience,
• English- Upper-Intermediate.
   

Preferred qualification:
 

• Interest in integrating AI technologies (LLMs, ML) into production applications,
• Identity Access Manager usage and development (Ping, Okta, Keycloak),
• Experience with developing browser extensions,
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
   

Responsibilities:
 

• Contribute to the development of the product,
• Lead cutting-edge technical initiatives across the organization to bring them to reality,
• Work with your team to deliver solid solutions that are reusable and maintainable,
• Support Product Management in defining features, bug fixes, and software maintenance,
• Supporting developers in growing through quality code reviews while fostering a high
  level of software quality and documenting standards,
• Write and review technical proposals,
• Participate in team meetings and interviews, contribute to team standards, and
  documentation,
• Follow Agile development practices to help the team meet product delivery goals,
• Make recommendations to improve code,
• Collaborate with other departments to support prospects and customers.
