Mid-Senior Sales Manager at Web Design Studio
We seek a sharp and proactive Sales Manager to strengthen our pipeline and keep momentum across all sales channels. In this role, you'll ensure every inbound lead is handled with speed and quality β and when inbound slows, you'll switch gears to win over βsearchingβ leads through tailored proposals and outreach. We want to hear from you if you're structured, persuasive, and thrive on turning opportunities into signed contracts.
What you'll do
Priority 1 β Inbound excellence
Your primary responsibility is to ensure every inbound request is handled quickly and thoroughly. That means:
β’ Monitoring all incoming channels (email + platforms)
β’ Responding within agreed SLAs (to be set during onboarding)
β’ Running intro/discovery calls, clarifying needs, risks, and success criteria
β’ Preparing proposals using our templates: structured, on-brand, persuasive, and visually clean
β’ Keeping CRM and reporting fully updated
β’ Ensuring a clean handover to delivery once contracts are signed
β’ Covering for the Lead Sales Manager during PTO/illness to maintain pace across all channels
Priority 2 β Outbound / "searching leads"
When inbound demand slows down, you will actively convert leads already searching for a contractor but don't know us yet. That means:
β’ Identifying open briefs/RFPs on relevant job boards/platforms
β’ Crafting tailored proposals and submissions
β’ Nurturing conversations until contracts are signed
β’ Coordinating with Marketing where needed for outreach angles
Must-haves
β’ Advanced/Fluent English (written + spoken); persuasive and structured communication
β’ Sales craft in digital/creative services: qualifying, discovery, scoping, and closing
β’ Proposal excellence: ability to argue value, package scope, and present it clearly (taste matters)
β’ Experience with US/EU markets, RFPs, and platform-sourced leads
β’ Speed + discipline: fast response time and rigorous pipeline hygiene
β’ Analytical mindset: double-check budgets/timelines and flag risks early
β’ Collaboration: work smoothly with Design, Development, Marketing, PM, and C-level
β’ Client rapport & negotiation: build trust quickly, handle objections, keep momentum
β’ Domain familiarity across startups and verticals we touch (biotech, fintech, recycling, telecom, etc.)
β’ Web-agency literacy: general understanding of how design and development agencies work, differences between code and no-code (e.g., Webflow), when AI is valuable, and awareness of current digital trends
β’ Ability to learn fast and operate independently when covering the primary Sales Manager
Nice-to-haves
β’ Understanding of digital marketing; ability to coordinate with Marketing on outreach angles
β’ Familiarity with pricing models, change-request handling, and light estimation
β’ Experience with Asia/Oceania markets
Culture fit
β’ People over profit; substance over hype
β’ Openness as the default
β’ Change as the norm; experimentation expected
β’ We value clarity, pace, and argumentation β and design quality in sales materials
What you'll get
β’ Challenging, design-driven projects
β’ Reasonably flexible workday
β’ 30 paid days off per year (including sick leaves)
