Junior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support and participate in planning and execution of product development projects in electronics and embedded systems. 
• Assist senior Project Managers in communication with international customers and engineering teams.
• Directly participate in project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting. 
• Learn and apply EKTOS project model and management processes.

Requirements: 

Must Have: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills; ability to decompose complex topics and connect technical and business perspectives.
• Minimum 40 hours of formal project management education (e.g. PM101 or equivalent).
• Demonstrated leadership potential and a proactive attitude supported by examples from real life.
• Able to prioritize tasks effectively and perform under uncertainty.
• English proficiency: B2 (Upper Intermediate) or higher. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Desire to learn and take ownership of results. 

   

Nice to have: 

• Basic understanding of the software or hardware development life cycle (SDLC/HDLC).
• Participation in international or cross-functional projects. 
• Experience with requirement collection. 
• Experience with hobby, volunteer, or university projects showing initiative. 
• Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Redmine, or similar).
