We value professionalism, adaptability, and clarity in everything we do.

Why This Role Exists / Job Description

  • Develop and refine HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance guidelines.
  • Consult on recruitment strategies, onboarding frameworks, and retention practices.
  • Advise on performance management, employee engagement, and culture-building.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment law, privacy standards, and workplace regulations.
  • Support leadership in aligning HR practices with long-term business goals.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of HR consulting or management experience.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. labor law, compliance, and HR standards.
  • Proven experience conducting HR audits and policy reviews.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Ability to design and implement HR frameworks from the ground up.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with startups and high-growth companies.
  • Knowledge of international HR practices.
  • Familiarity with HR tech tools, ATS, and performance systems.
  • Background in regulated industries (cannabis, healthcare, finance, etc.).

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to shape HR practices across multiple projects.
  • Flexible, project-based collaboration (remote/part-time).
  • Competitive compensation based on expertise.
  • Long-term potential to support growing teams and organizations.

Hiring Process:

  1. Resume and references review.
  2. Initial interview with leadership team.
  3. Final interview and offer.
