Senior Microsoft Solution Architect (Power Platform and AI)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft (Senior) Specialist to support a leading German insurance company in shaping its future Microsoft technology landscape. The role is primarily strategic: developing an overarching plan and framework across architecture, applications, AI, integration, and compliance. Based on this strategy, the customer will build internal teams and execute projects. The Specialist will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring that technology initiatives are aligned with business goals and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap Development
  • Define the overall strategy for Microsoft’s CoE Starter Kit and Copilot Studio CoE Kit.
  • Establish standards for tenant configuration, environment strategy, ALM practices, and pipelines.
• Application Strategy
  • Develop guidelines for model-driven app development using Power Automate, Dataverse, and PowerFx.
  • Recommend best practices for maintainable and scalable application delivery.
• AI & Copilot Strategy
  • Define an AI adoption framework covering Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and external AI models.
  • Identify high-value business cases and establish responsible use policies.
• Integration Blueprint
  • Create an integration strategy leveraging Azure components and custom connectors.
  • Provide reference architectures to ensure flexibility and scalability.
• Compliance & Governance
  • Define governance models and compliance frameworks tailored to regulated industries.
  • Ensure end-user computing adheres to industry and legal standards.
• Enablement & Leadership
  • Deliver reference concepts and blueprints to accelerate implementation by in-house teams.
  • Advise on required skill sets and team composition for successful project execution.

  • Provide frameworks for key-user and end-user training.

     

Requirements

• Proven track record in designing and implementing Microsoft CoE strategies (including Copilot Studio CoE).
• Deep expertise in application lifecycle management (ALM), pipeline automation, and environment strategy.
• Strong experience defining application strategies with Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse, PowerFx).
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI integration (Copilot Studio, AI Builder, external models) in enterprise contexts.
• Solid background in integration architectures with Azure components and custom connectors.
• Expertise in compliance and governance frameworks for regulated industries.
• Minimum 3 years of domain experience in the insurance sector (corporate & specialty insurance preferred).
• Experience advising enterprises on organization design, skill requirements, and training models.
• Ability to provide reference architectures, concepts, and roadmaps enabling customer teams to execute.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Solution Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a strong plus.
