Backend Engineer (Middle+) - Web3

Tetracode is looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and build core infrastructure for cutting-edge Web3 products. You’ll be working on multi-chain wallets, decentralized banking features, and secure messaging, while integrating blockchain protocols, tokenomics, and real-time analytics into a scalable backend.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Node.js/TypeScript (Nest.js) — from design and decomposition to deployment.
• Take part in architecture planning and building PoCs for new Web3 features.
• Integrate with blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, BSC, TON, TRON, etc.) using Web3.js, Ethers.js, Solana Web3.js, TronWeb.
• Implement wallet functionality: address generation (BIP44/49/84/86), local signing, WalletConnect integration.
• Build APIs for Matrix-based messenger and custodial services (crypto cards, IBAN).
• Work with message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka), caching (Redis), and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Optimize performance and ensure reliability at scale.
• Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and CI/CD improvements.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js.
• Experience with microservice architecture, OOP/DDD, API design.
• Solid background with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka.
• Web3 knowledge: interacting with blockchains via SDKs, working with ERC20/SPL/BEP20 tokens and smart contracts.
• Experience integrating with DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Jupiter, 1Inch, etc.) and dApps.
• Testing skills (unit/integration).
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fast-learning, self-organized team player.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or PHP.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes.
• Understanding of security practices: E2EE, 2FA, KYC/AML flows, SUMSUB integration.
• Knowledge of tokenomics, DAO, and staking mechanisms.
