Technical Requirements

• Proven hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, including advanced services such as Azure Machine Learning.
• Strong background in Microsoft Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Solid knowledge of cloud cost optimization, billing, financial reporting, and cost management best practices.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement processes within cloud financial management.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and audit requirements for cloud services.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure consumption and spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, commitment plans, and optimization strategies.
• Optimize both standard and advanced Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, AI workloads) for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasts, budgets, and detailed reports for technical and financial stakeholders.
• Create dashboards and reporting solutions using Azure Cost Management + Billing, Power BI, and FinOps tools.
• Define and apply cloud cost governance policies (tagging, budget limits, reserved instances, etc.).
• Support cost allocation models to distribute cloud expenses accurately across departments or business units.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Finance teams to align cloud usage with business strategy.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud financial management practices and tools.
• Actively participate in FinOps working groups to improve cost visibility and accountability across the organization.
• Ensure billing and usage data accuracy for audits and compliance purposes.
