We are International Showtimes; a global entertainment data aggregator from Berlin, Germany. We operate in 114+ markets worldwide and serve clients across the globe. Our automated algorithm connects to 25k+ entertainment websites to aggregate rich and high-quality data. The International Showtimes team consists of 21+ smart, motivated, and friendly people. We work remotely with team members across the globe. Now we are looking for you to support us in pushing our data solutions, such as API and dashboard solutions to the wider entertainment industry

You're offering these qualifications:

Required Skills

• Strong TypeScript skills.
• Experience bypassing website protective measures (e.g., CAPTCHAs, IP bans).
• Ability to bypass Puppeteer detection.
• Experience handling dynamic content using headless browsers.
• Knowledge of unit testing and end-to-end (e2e) testing.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and improve overall code quality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within a development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Image parsing skills (e.g., parsing seating grids from images).
• Experience handling large-scale data extraction and processing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience monitoring website structure changes and building alerting features.
• Ability to document processes and provide training to new team members.
• Track record of suggesting and implementing improvements in crawling frameworks.
