Job Description

Education and Experience:
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining scalable mobile test automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in designing, writing, and executing automated test cases for both Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of Android development concepts, including experience with Kotlin, Java, and modern Android frameworks like Jetpack
- Compose to inform effective testing strategies.
- Good grasp of iOS development fundamentals, with hands-on experience using Swift, the iOS SDK, UIKit, and Xcode, as well as familiarity with iOS-specific frameworks.
- Deep understanding of mobile application architectures and design patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM, enabling robust and maintainable test design.
- Proven ability to test mobile apps that integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services, ensuring end-to-end functionality and interoperability.
- Competent testing knowledge (Playwright, Cypress, API testing, etc.).
- Good background in Software Quality concepts, process, and testing types.
- At least 2+ years of related experience is required, with 1+ years of technical automation testing/framework experience.
- Experience working at all stages in the software development life cycle.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with distributed remote teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with technical and subject matter experts to deliver class leading products.
- Contribute to ongoing test automation work within the Quality Engineering team.
- Write scalable, performant, maintainable code.
- Measure and report test automation metrics, including code, function, and test case coverage.
- Work effectively within a team environment, to regularly solicit and act on feedback, focus on root causes, and continually strive to improve.
- Introduce and/or work on frameworks that can be used for automation.
- Review code throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Leverage your technical skills to bolster and expand our Quality team’s effectiveness.
- Create tools that can be used by others.
- Make sure the product is reliable, scalable, and performant.
