Regular/Senior QA (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes. We are currently looking to expand our Kyiv team developing and supporting a variety of projects and services to a new area. The project is an ongoing of a system that receives information from different sources, including vendor solutions for capital markets such as Murex.
Our team: Rapidly expanding group in Kyiv developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements
Technologies used: .NET, Java, Scala with a large number of vendor solutions for capital markets including Murex. MS SQL and Oracle as RDBMS.
Opportunities: Rapidly growing team with opportunities for working directly with business users, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, and developing consultancy / soft skills. Successful candidate would join a highly professional client team and would be required to travel to London for initial induction. Farther trips to client are possible
Responsibilities:
*Shifts up to 10 pm. Weekdays only. No weekend coverage*
The employee will be responsible for testing application from to back, including front end and back end. You will be required to write and execute test cases, build test automation where it is applicable.
Additional responsibilities include work closely with the business systems analysts and the application developers, utilize functional design documentation and technical specifications to facilitate the creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts, perform data analysis and creation of test data, track and help resolve defects and ensure that all testing is conducted and documented in adherence with client standards.
Mandatory Skills:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Java, IntelliJ Idea, SVN
- Selenium
- Jira / Test Rail
- Banking /Financial Services and Financial transactions experience is required
- Strong SQL query writing skill
- Deep understanding of Functional End to End Testing, System Testing, Batch Processing, Regression, and UI
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Know how to build and maintain Data-Driven Testing (DDT).
- Knowledge of .NET, Scala is a plus
