Senior Business Analyst (contract)

Please, note that this position is for a contract-based cooperation, not an inhouse one. That means, the social package, like paid vacations, days off, public holidays, sick leaves, equipment, and accounting, is not covered.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join two projects from our client and manage them simultaneously.

Timeline of cooperation: till the end of October/November with the possibility of prolongation.
Expected Working Hours: 8 am — 5 pm (one-hour break) Kyiv time.
Team: Project Director, Product Manager, UI and UX Leads, Content team, Development team

Project #1 Description: The UAE’s integrated textile circularity initiative. Acting as a convener — not a service provider — it brings together government, retailers, charities, and recyclers to make reuse, repair, and recycling simple for people and organizations, while driving awareness, enabling policy and innovation, and publishing transparent impact data.

Project #2 Description: Unique family hub — not a nursery or school — created to strengthen connections between parents and children through guided, sensory-focused experiences that also include grandparents. Opening soon, our hub will feature around eight age-specific programs for families with children from newborns to 8 years old. Each session is one-on-one and facilitated by a trained guide, emphasizing a human-led approach rather than AI-driven experiences.

Skills required

• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
• Proficiency in Jira.
• Strong documentation and specification writing abilities.
• Experience with user story creation and acceptance criteria development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Market research and competitive analysis capabilities.
• Experience with backlog management and prioritization techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
• Create detailed product specifications.
• Define and prioritize product and team backlogs.
• Translate product strategy into epics and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Support product strategy development and roadmap planning.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities.
