Senior Python (Django) Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a state-owned educational platform. This project ensures continuous access to quality education for students and teachers across Ukraine, supporting both distance and blended learning.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Python software development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Django.
• 1+ years of commercial experience with React.js.
• Solid knowledge of: Django REST Framework (DRF), Celery, Redis, SQL, JS.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Serverless architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/ GCP/ Azure).
• Familiarity with work according to Agile frameworks (SCRUM, etc).
• Upper-Intermediate English (written and spoken).
 

Will be a plus:

• Experience in working with LMS and EdTech projects in general.
• Basic knowledge of Odoo.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Readiness and willingness to grow as a Tech Lead.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features and modules for the platform.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical design, and effort estimation.
• Ensure high code quality by adhering to best practices, conducting thorough testing, and performing regular code reviews.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, BA, PM, etc) to deliver business value.
