Full Stack Python + React Developer

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

English level: B2+ (Upper-Intermediate)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer (React, Python, PostgreSQL)
• Strong skills in REST API development with a focus on security (OWASP, token management)
• Experience managing databases with compliance & privacy in mind (CCPA, SOC2, encryption)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and IaC tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of AML, KYC, sanctions, and data privacy requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Passion for fintech and building secure, scalable systems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, React, and PostgreSQL
• Develop and secure REST APIs with token management and adherence to OWASP best practices
• Implement compliance-focused database solutions (encryption, privacy frameworks, auditing)
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, GitHub Actions)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a fast-paced startup team
• Ensure product features comply with AML, KYC, and data privacy regulations
• Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize scalability

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with GraphQL for API development
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior experience in the fintech sector (payments, compliance, anti-fraud systems)
• Contributions to open-source projects or fintech communities
