We partner with physician groups, home health agencies, and payers to improve outcomes for patients with chronic conditions through advanced care coordination, real-time monitoring, and secure integrations with EMRs and other clinical systems.
We are seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to deploying Emmacare for new clients, integrating with healthcare systems, and ensuring seamless technical onboarding. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and clinical stakeholders to deliver successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementations of Emmacare’s platform for new and existing clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet customer requirements.
- Configure and optimize platform deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability for large datasets
- Build, test, and maintain integrations using REST APIs, HL7/FHIR, EDI, and secure messaging protocols.
- Leverage our AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, RDS) for scalable and secure deployments.
- Oversee successful data and workflow integrations with EMRs.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges.
- Document implementation processes and contribute to best practices for future deployments.
Requirements
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Strong experience with PHP and the Symfony framework
- Proficiency with MariaDB (preferred) / MySQL
- Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS)
- Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (implementation, onboarding, or integrations)
- High-level proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Exposure to healthcare IT systems (EMRs, HL7, FHIR, EDI, secure messaging)
- Familiarity with compliance/security standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
Prior experience in SaaS implementation or cloud-based integrations
Soft Skills & Communication
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (implementation, integration, or support).
- High-level proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a healthcare SaaS or health IT environment.
- Project management or client success experience.
- Flexible hours. Customers are US based.
