Our individual contributors are working on a scalable surgical planning offering that can support cloud and local network customer deployments, support both Client’s and competitor diagnostic devices and send surgical plans to Client’s surgical equipment.
The product we are working on provides ophthalmology planning capabilities and clinical decision support using measurements derived from diagnostic equipment like biometers, Keratometers/topographers, Retinal Optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems and Wavefront aberrometers. This sub-system follows a web-application cloud microservices architecture.
Requirements
- V-model, Agile development experience.
- Presentation skills.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a strong plus.
- Good knowledge of regulatory background/framework (ISO13485, ISO9001, IEC62304 – as a plus).
- Ability to map the established process to the applicable regulations and industry guidelines.
- Ability to actively participate in the internal audit interviews (e.g assisting the dev and test teams in the interviews).
- Experience in Product Risk Analysis and evaluation, knowledge of techniques for conducting Product Risk Analysis.
- Experience in quality engineering, optionally – software development, testing, management or software analysis (Business Analysis, Software Risk Analysis, System Analysis etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of software testing and quality assurance (in terms of process).
- Knowledge of fundamentals of configuration management; change management; problem resolution.
- Deep knowledge of documentation management.
Job responsibilities
- General knowledge of: Office suite, JIRA, Confluence, etc. Ability to clearly describe the intended use and major used features of tools, ability to complete the assigned tasks using the tools.
- Upper-intermediate English level: understanding the main points of speech during conference calls and face-to-face communication with clients; ability to read and interpret SDLC specific documentation (requirements, plans, reports, process descriptions, etc).
- Analytical mindset: skills to absorb new information or new domain rapidly and ability to deal with requests from customers without additional clarification by senior staff; attention to minor details during project deliverables review; ability to prioritize tasks in scope of current assignments.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized: focusing on the result of task assigned and ability to get missing info to accomplish the task to accomplish the task in the given timelines; understanding customer’s business priorities, has experience in working within priorities set by the team lead; understanding when the flag is to be raised on a problem and when it should be solved independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Teamwork: experience in providing support to co-workers and sharing knowledge with the team members; open to feedback and views all feedback as a chance to learn and never react defensively; establish effective communication with other teams to get the tasks completed in a timely manner.
