Role Overview
Title: Delivery Manager
Level: Middle
Team: One of Development Value Streams (Tribe of 20+ members: Developers, QAs, UI/UX, System Analysts)
Reports To: Head of Delivery Management
Purpose: Coordinate predictable, high-quality delivery aligned to engineering and business priorities. As a hands-on operator at the heart of execution, the Delivery Manager plans, coordinates, forecasts, and unblocks so the Tribe ships with confidence—ensuring a smooth, reliable flow of work, meeting commitments, safeguarding the team from burnout, and preventing uncontrolled growth of the maintenance backlog
Key Responsibilities
[R1] Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, demos).
[R2] Provide delivery forecasting using historical delivery data (lead time, throughput) to support planning and delivery commitments.
[R3] Plan, coordinate, and track iOS and Android release cycles, ensuring on-time and stable submissions to App Store and Google Play.
[R4] Manage capacity and workload of functional team resources (Developers, QAs, SAs, UI/UX) via Google Sheets and Jira dashboards.
[R5] Proactively identify bottlenecks, resolve or escalate delivery risks early, and ensure business alignment.
[R6] Maintain a healthy maintenance backlog aligned with engineering and business priorities.
[R7] Analyze delivery trends (arrival rate, delivery rate, lead time, touch time, flow efficiency, discard rates) and prepare delivery reports with improvement recommendations.
[R8] Partner with Senior Delivery Manager to implement delivery flow optimization ideas and track post-implementation results.
[R9] Ensure compliance with Paysera’s delivery framework, team agreements, and documentation standards in Jira/Confluence.
[R10] Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and conflict resolution while ensuring effective communication between teams and stakeholders via Google Meet and Miro.
Must-Have Qualifications
[Q1] 2+ years of proven experience managing multiple and/or distributed Agile delivery teams simultaneously (20+ people) with an understanding of the entire software development lifecycle. Verified via resume and references.
[Q2] Proven experience as a Delivery Manager (or equivalent) in a fintech or tech-driven environment.
[Q3] Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum / Kanban / Scaled Agile / Hybrid).
[Q4] Demonstrated use of agile metrics (lead time, throughput, etc) for tracking team performance and delivery predictability.
[Q5] Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including building custom dashboards and reports.
[Q6] Proactive hand-on usage of AI tools and technologies for automation daily routine.
[Q7] Clear, confident English communication (B2+ written and spoken). Verified via interview.
[Q8] Good technical background in SDLC and technologies.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
[N1] Advanced proficiency in AI tools to automate routine delivery work and reporting.
[N2] Familiarity with iOS/Android release cycles, App Store/Google Play submission, and compliance.
[N3] Awareness of mobile-specific challenges (e.g., backward compatibility, release approvals, phased rollout) is a strong plus.
[N4] Agile certifications (CSM / KSD / KSI / PSM II / PMP-ACP / ICP-ATF / SAFe).
[N5] Background in software engineering, QA, or solution architecture.
[N6] Familiarity with CI/CD principles and DORA metrics.
Work Conditions & Contract Info
[W1] Employment type: Full-time, B2B contract.
[W2] Location: Remote-first, with hybrid preference for Vilnius, Wroclaw, Sofia, or Ahmedabad.
[W3] Core Hours: Flexible, aligned with EET (GMT+2) timezone.
[W4] Compensation: €15-€20/hour gross, depending on qualifications.
