Data Engineer, Big Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Database Engineer

The our candidate will focus on creating, developing, and maintaining effective ETL workflows; enhancing database performance; and designing data models that enable seamless integration. You will work closely with Data Analysts to identify and resolve data model issues, as well as collaborate with the Infrastructure team, BI platform providers, and marketing platforms such as Facebook and Google Analytics to ensure reliable and optimized data flows.

Key Responsibilities::

• Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to support data integration.
• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data availability and performance.
• Develop and improve data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve data model issues.
• Work with the Infrastructure team, BI platform vendors, and marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google Analytics) to ensure seamless data flow and integration.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, partitioning, and database optimization.
• Strong skills in handling large datasets.
• Experience with large partitioned tables and data modeling; ability to anticipate and resolve chasm traps.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and ETL jobs (including PySpark, NumPy, and Pandas).
• Experience with integrating data into marketing and analytics platforms such as Facebook and Google Analytics.
• Experience with data warehouses and data lakes, such as Redshift, Snowflake, and AWS S3, will be considered a plus.
