Senior Full Stack Magento Developer (Project-Based, 3–6 months)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Magento Developer to join our team for a project-based collaboration (3–6 months). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Magento 2 and will play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing complex e-commerce platforms. This role requires strong back-end and front-end development skills, as well as a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2-based e-commerce websites and applications.
• Customize and extend Magento themes, modules, and core functionalities to meet business needs.
• Optimize website performance by implementing caching solutions and code best practices.
• Develop API integrations with third-party systems (payment gateways, CRMs, shipping providers).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, ensure best practices, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Magento platform issues and other development challenges.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
• Ensure code meets security standards and is compliant with e-commerce regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Magento 2.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Magento custom theme and module development.
• Deep understanding of Magento architecture and ORM/Entity-Attribute-Value (EAV) model.
• Proficiency in Magento APIs (REST, SOAP) for integrations.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Knockout.js, React, or Vue.js).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and Apache/Nginx configuration.
• Expertise in performance tuning, caching (Varnish, Redis), and scalability strategies.
• Knowledge of payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe) and third-party system integration.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker).
• Familiarity with Magento Cloud and Adobe Commerce solutions is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Magento certifications (e.g., Magento 2 Professional Developer Certification).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GraphQL and headless Magento architectures.
• Knowledge of PWA (Progressive Web Apps) in the Magento ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and AWS services.
• Previous experience leading a development team or mentoring junior developers.
