Technical Program Manager to $8000
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years leading cloud infrastructure projects (preferably Azure) such as migrations, control planes, and automation pipelines.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, technically complex programs involving 50+ team members.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Resource Manager).
- Expertise with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience briefing executives on technical and business matters.
- Experience in vendor management and cross-organizational stakeholder alignment.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments and large-scale data center migrations.
- Strong technical acumen in cloud computing and DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins).
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments with a bias for action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large, technically complex programs with 50+ contributors across engineering, product, and operations.
- Drive end-to-end program execution, from planning and resource allocation to delivery and post-launch support.
- Partner with stakeholders and executives to align technical initiatives with business goals, ensuring clarity, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations to keep programs on track under tight deadlines.
- Implement and improve project management practices leveraging Agile/Scrum and modern tools (Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Lead cross-organizational efforts, including vendor management and partner collaboration.
- Provide executive-level reporting, highlighting progress, risks, and business/technical impact.
