Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in agile software engineering and containerization technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing automation, extending CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining cluster infrastructure applications within Kubernetes-based environments. This position is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure efficiency and security, with a hands-on approach to on-premise DevOps setups.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of applications and test setups from Linux-based Kubernetes to on-premise OpenShift;
• Strengthen application security using Service Mesh, Pod Admission Policies, Network Policies, and secure image whitelisting;
• Maintain and continuously improve monitoring and logging components;
• Optimize alerting mechanisms and cluster resource utilization;
• Perform updates and upgrades of infrastructure applications;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents related to both infrastructure and process flows;
• Support customer teams in migrating their projects to Kubernetes and OpenShift;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless DevOps operations;

   

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes application development;
• OpenShift experience is a plus;
• Hands-on experience with Helm charts, ArgoCD, GitOps, Jenkins, and Ansible;
• Familiarity with Kubernetes edge and non-edge solutions;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security features and best practices;
• Solid experience with on-premise Kubernetes environments (no cloud DevOps focus);
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in agile, distributed teams.
