Strong Junior/Middle Backend developer

BigD is seeking a talented Strong Junior/Middle Backend developer to join our dynamic team. BigD is an iGaming operator focused on the LATAM (top brand). But that’s not all — we also have a thriving Affiliate Program, a handy Payment solution, and an AI user acquisition solution. We are a big family of over 500+ creative minds.

What to do:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Nest.js and TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful/GraphQL APIs for internal and external use.
• Work with message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka) to handle asynchronous communication and event-driven processes.
• Build and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Use Redis for caching and data optimization (good to have).
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability in a high-load environment.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver features on time.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
   

We are looking for:

• 1.5–3 years of commercial experience as a Backend Developer (Node.js / Nest.js).
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Nest.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Basic understanding of Redis (or willingness to learn).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus).
• Knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, clean code).
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (GitFlow, Pull Requests).
