Compliance Officer

Softsich is a young and ambitious international product tech company that develops scalable B2B digital platforms.
We’re looking for a Middle Legal and Compliance Officer to ensure legal clarity and compliance across all processes. If you’re eager to make an impact in a dynamic environment where your expertise matters — we’d love to meet you!

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, payment service providers (PSPs) regulations, and industry standards.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements — contracts with PSPs, merchants, affiliates, and other partners.
• Conducting due diligence and risk assessments for PSPs, providers, and affiliates to mitigate compliance risks.
• Managing corporate documentation across different jurisdictions.
• Implementing and monitoring AML/CTF measures and anti-fraud policies.
• Providing legal advice on compliance matters and regulatory changes.
• Collaborating with internal teams, external legal advisors, PSPs, and regulators.
• Developing internal policies and conducting awareness training programs.

It’s a match if you have:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law, Compliance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
• Advanced level of English (both written and spoken).
• Experience working with PSPs and financial institutions in the context of high-risk transactions.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, financial compliance laws, and reporting standards.
• Understanding of international jurisdictions (MGA, Curaçao, Costa Rica).
• Experience in drafting legal documents, negotiations, and risk evaluation.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, financial licensing, and compliance frameworks.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as CAMS, ICA will be a plus.
