Head of IT Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure and user support across all business-critical environments.
• Lead and develop teams responsible for infrastructure operations, end-user support, and systems engineering, ensuring 24/7 reliability.
• Oversee network, server, cloud, and workplace technologies with a strong focus on resilience, continuity, and controlled access.
• Establish and enforce security policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery frameworks aligned with mission-critical needs.
• Implement monitoring, automation, and ITSM practices to improve efficiency, transparency, and service excellence.
• Ensure measurable service levels (SLA/OLA) are achieved, with particular attention to supporting teams operating in sensitive and highly regulated domains.
• Partner with senior leadership to align infrastructure capabilities with organizational priorities and long-term strategy.

• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.

   

Requirements:

• 5+ years in senior IT leadership roles (Head of Infrastructure, IT Director, IT Operations Manager, or similar).
• Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure and support operations for high-availability, secure environments.
• Strong expertise in networking, virtualization, cloud solutions (Azure/AWS/GCP), and enterprise security practices.
• Experience with ITSM frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and enterprise service management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.).
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana).
• Background in managing budgets, procurement, and vendor ecosystems with an emphasis on strategic cost control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate under pressure and in sensitive contexts.
• English – Intermediate or higher.

Would be a Plus:

• Experience with secure cloud migrations and hybrid environments.
• Industry certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or relevant cloud/infra certifications).
• Familiarity with the demands of operating in environments where confidentiality, compliance, and resilience are paramount.
