Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the BA team and developers to understand requirements and identify areas of testing.
  • Participate in test plan creation, test case design, and continuous improvement of the automation testing process.
  • Verify acceptance criteria and enrich them
  • Execute testing to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications is working properly.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Perform test data preparation.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Gather testing metrics

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • 2+ years of overall QA experience
  • In-depth knowledge of test metrics, approaches and best practices.
  • Need to have backend testing experience (API testing, hands-on experience with relational databases)
  • Experience with bug tracking (Jira) and test management tools - TestRail or similar)
  • Extensive DB knowledge (JOINs, aggregate functions, types of relations)
  • Experience with Kafka is strongly preferred
  • Application log tracing and troubleshooting (Datadog, ELK or similar)
  • Knowledge of browser-specific testing tools will be a plus
  • Experience working with AWS will be a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • At least an Intermediate strong level of English
