Title: System Analyst
Level: Mid to Senior
Team: SA Competence Center; staffed into domain tribes (Transfers & Payments, Platform Solutions, Cards Processing, Mobile Application, Web Shell, eCommerce)
Reports To: Head of SA Competence Center (matrix); in-tribe to Delivery Manager
Must-Have Qualifications
[Q1] Experience: 3+ years in IT as a Business Analyst and 1+ year as a System Analyst in multi-system environments.
[Q2] Domain depth: Hands-on experience in at least 1 domain (Transfers & Payments, Accounting/Ledger, Card Processing, KYC/AML, Loans/Deposits, eCommerce/Payment Gateways, or similar fintech).
[Q3] Modeling proficiency: 3+ years delivered artifacts using UML/BPMN (use case/sequence/state/activity).
[Q4] NFR specification: Demonstrated ability to define SLOs (e.g., p95 latency, throughput, rate limits, HA targets) and embed them into stories.
[Q5] Tooling: Daily use of Jira, Confluence, draw.io, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, SQL (SELECT/JOIN/window functions).
[Q6] AI Adoption: Practical experience and active daily usage of AI tools, models, and assistants to empower personal performance and productivity.
[Q7] Communication: English B2+ (speaking and writing) for stakeholder facilitation and documentation.
[R1] Translate requirements into functional and non-functional specifications with unambiguous, testable acceptance criteria in Jira/Confluence using Gherkin where applicable.
[R2] Break down epics/features into right-sized user stories with DoR.
[R3] Leverage AI assistants for drafting/validating specifications, generating test cases, impact analysis, and documentation consistency checks.
[R4] Model system behavior with UML/BPMN (use case, sequence, state, activity) for key flows across user actions, integrations, and transactions using draw.io or similar services, utilizing AI tools for diagram generation, validation, and consistency checks.
[R5] Specify APIs and contracts by producing versioned OpenAPI/Swagger specs, example payloads, and error models; validate with Postman and mock servers before development.
[R6] Design cross-system integrations (REST/gRPC/event streaming) with data mappings, idempotency, and retry/backoff; document constraints (rate limits, p95 latency targets) using Kafka/RabbitMQ, JSON/Protobuf.
[R7] Define non-functional requirements for performance, availability, security, and observability (e.g., p95 < 500 ms, 99.9% uptime, time-to-detect < 5 min), tracked as explicit stories in Jira.
[R8] Ensure regulatory alignment by mapping PSD2, PCI DSS, AML/KYC, GDPR, DAC, SEPA, SWIFT CSP/OpenBanking
[R9] Maintain documentation quality by keeping Swagger, Confluence, and data dictionaries consistent.
[R10] Drive delivery via refinement, planning, and estimation; facilitate workshops, clarify edge cases, and unblock teams;
[N1] Payment standards: ISO 20022, SEPA Instant, SWIFT MT/MX exposure.
[N2] Compliance translation: Practical experience mapping PSD2, GDPR, AML or KYC, or PCI-DSS controls to system behavior.
[N3] Cards & security: Scheme integrations (Visa/Mastercard), PCI DSS audit support experience.
[N4] Architecture literacy: Working with microservices and modular monoliths, patterns such as CQRS/event sourcing.
[N5] API & integration design:1+ years end-to-end integrations across REST/gRPC/event streaming with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman; familiarity with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
[N6] Observability: Using Graylog/Grafana/Sentry to support troubleshooting and define log/metric needs.
[N7] Data modeling: ER modeling and SQL performance tuning for analytical queries.
[N8] Certifications: IREB or IIBA or ISTQB, or BPMN 2.0 Practitioner, or Data Modeling/ERD (completed or in progress).
[W1] Employment type: B2B; contract term 1+ years with 3โ6 months probation.
[W2] Location/arrangement: Remote or Hybrid; candidates within ยฑ3 hours of CET.
[W3] Core hours/timezone: Collaboration overlap within CET business hours (minimum 4 hours/day).
