Middle Project Manager

We’re looking for a proactive Project Manager  to join our fast-growing startup.
This isn’t a typical corporate PjM role with endless processes and reporting layers - you’ll be the one bringing structure where there’s chaos, making sure the team is aligned and delivering. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and dev team, keeping delivery on track and requirements crystal clear.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Project Manager in a product company.
• Experience in writing clear, actionable dev tasks that minimize back-and-forth questions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English (all meetings and documentation are in English).
• A proactive mindset: spot problems early, solve them collaboratively.

Nice to have:
 

• Experience working with international SaaS teams or B2B products.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Product Manager to ensure sprints are delivered on time and within scope.
• Review requirements, identify missing pieces or unclear designs, and drive clarity with the PM.
• Lead daily standups and weekly sync calls.
• Push the dev team for on-time delivery and help remove blockers.
• Own the GitLab task board: keep tasks clear, concise, and easy to understand.
• Track what’s going into each sprint and upcoming deployments.
• Manage scope changes and ensure they’re reflected properly.
• Understand task and bug priorities to keep focus where it matters most.

About us:

Cinderblock is a SaaS job management app for contractors (in construction and related fields). Contractors juggle estimates, invoices, change orders, and notes across clunky tools. We simplify the chaos! Our web and mobile apps are live with paying customers, and we’re in the early stages of scaling.

Our product team:

1 Product Manager • 2 Product Designers • 6 Developers (web + mobile) • 1 QA Manager 

Time zone:
 

Full remote with a preferred time zone of CET/EET. There will be some EST overlap for occasional communication with our U.S. team.

• Figma for design
• Notion for documentation
• Slack for daily communication
