System Administrator

DevCom is looking for a responsible and proactive System Administrator to join our team! We are open to candidates who are still studying. We consider students of specialized technical universities (from the 4th year) who are available for full-time work and can support our office infrastructure. Location: Lviv
Work schedule: Mon—Fri, 09:00–18:00 or 10:00–19:00 (the schedule is coordinated).
You must be available in case of critical technical issues (rare, but possible).
Probation period: 3 months

What you need to join us:
▪ Specialized higher education or ongoing studies (from the 4th year) in IT, Computer Systems, Networking or Cybersecurity
▪ Completed specialized courses (System Administration, Cybersecurity, Networking, Windows/Linux, etc.)
▪ Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
▪ Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, confident use of CLI (cmd, PowerShell, bash)
▪ Experience in installing and configuring the OS and connecting peripheral devices
▪ Understanding of cybersecurity basics and data backup principles
▪ Analytical thinking for troubleshooting and solving technical issues
▪ English — at a level sufficient to read technical documentation

Would be a plus:
▪ Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox), containers (Docker), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Your responsibilities will include:
▪ Assisting colleagues in resolving technical issues, analyzing problems, and finding solutions
▪ Installing and configuring operating systems (Windows, Linux) and connecting peripheral devices
▪ Supporting basic network services (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
▪ Monitoring core cybersecurity aspects and data backup practices
