Our client is a newly formed FinTech partnership delivering next-generation, cloud-first trading solutions to global, multi-asset class institutional clients. We are building highly modular, well-tested, and well-documented applications that allow us to scale quickly and reliably.

The commercial vision is bold: disrupt an industry long overdue for technology-driven innovation. By expanding capabilities and reach, the team is pushing established practices forward, creating modern, efficient, and powerful trading solutions for institutional clients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality applications and backend services from scratch.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle: build, test, deploy, and support.
• Contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge with peers.
• Build a next-generation Order Management System (OMS) tailored for institutional trading firms.
• Create a high-performance trader desktop application, compatible with browsers and supported by scalable backend microservices.

Requirements

• Solid background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with strong expertise in Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Java, and Quarkus.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture, event sourcing, and microservices communication.
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
• Proficiency in working with NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis).
• Practical knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka Core.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
