About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the architecture and development of a cross-platform mobile application. This is a fully remote position. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a world-class mobile experience powered by the Ionic Capacitor framework and Angular with TypeScript.This is an exciting opportunity to shape a product with real impact, working on a fast-paced team that values autonomy, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of cross-platform mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to define and integrate APIs.
• Drive mobile app performance, responsiveness, and reliability across iOS, Android, and PWA.
• Contribute to feature planning and implementation aligned with product goals.
• Ensure secure mobile development practices, including secure storage and code obfuscation.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and architecture guidance.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance data processing and predictive functionality.
• Own various components of the application, from design to release.
• Participate in root cause analysis of high-complexity technical issues.
• Document architectural decisions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile or cross-platform development.
• Strong expertise in Ionic Capacitor, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Proven success in building and launching applications on both iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and performance optimization.
• Experience working with PWA and managing local/remote data models for real-time UX.
• Familiarity with mobile security practices (secure storage, obfuscation, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation practices and ability to clearly articulate technical decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with tight deadlines.
