Product Owner

We’re seeking a driven Product Owner to lead the creation of impactful digital products—steering the product roadmap in step with the strategic objectives of DTAG and its affiliates.

As the hinge between customers and delivery, you’ll be the product’s advocate: the customer’s voice, the quality bar, and the person who ensures we ship real business value.

What you’ll do

• Own the product roadmap—define how the product evolves, align stakeholders, secure development budgets, and ensure on-budget delivery (or negotiate additional funding when necessary).
• Partner with internal and external customers to clarify needs and keep the roadmap aligned with broader business strategy.
• Translate vision into execution by preparing scope documents and defining Epics/User Stories for Agile teams.
• Represent the client/customer so expectations are understood and reflected in the product.
• Make trade-off calls using data and context to unblock delivery and resolve critical issues.
• Set and track objectives/strategies, leveraging product data to inform smart decisions.
• Map end-to-end customer journeys and understand how systems and processes connect.
• Co-create the product vision with stakeholders during ideation and concept phases.
• Take full accountability for product outcomes within the product model and clearly communicate needs to business partners.
• Assess business value and ROI, build cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to focus on the highest-impact work.
• Shape requirements to keep them aligned with product goals and maximize value.
• Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog of user stories for delivery teams.
• Act as the product ambassador, internally and externally, and be the go-to contact for product questions.
• Create detailed, actionable specifications that development teams can implement.

Qualifications

• Have 3+ years in ICT System Engineering, Project Management, IT Business Analysis, or ICT Delivery Service Management.
• Hold a Certified Product Owner credential.
• Bring solid IT fundamentals and a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.
• Excel at communication, analysis, presentations, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation.
• Understand business case development and ROI evaluation.
• Are fluent with Agile methods and project management practices.
• Speak English (B2); German (B1) is a plus.
• Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Have proven experience defining and delivering product roadmaps.
• Are comfortable in a role without direct people management responsibilities.
