Middle Software Engineer (Java) $$$ Offline

This is a fintech project focused on developing and maintaining banking platforms for one of Canada’s largest financial institutions. The end users include approximately 10,000 internal bank employees. These platforms support both client-facing services for individuals looking to invest their funds, as well as internal operations. Our team is currently involved in several projects, with priorities shifting from sprint to sprint. In light of upcoming new initiatives, the team is actively expanding to meet growing demands.
 

Requirements: 2–3 years of experience with Java, Spring, Redis, JDBC.
 

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices.
• The ideal candidate is flexible, a fast learner, and proactive.
   

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring.
• Optimize application performance with Redis and database tuning.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement.
