Product Designer - Design System

Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer with a strong systems-thinking mindset to lead the evolution of our centralized design system, which supports a suite of enterprise web applications. These products feature complex dashboards, interactive data visualizations, and high-density information environments – requiring design solutions that balance usability, scalability, and clarity.
In this role, you will conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing design system and lead its refinement and modernization to ensure it effectively serves multiple product teams and engineering partners across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the current state of the shared Design System and identify opportunities for optimization and standardization.
• Enhance and expand the System’s components, patterns, and documentation to meet the needs of enterprise-grade web applications, particularly in areas of visualization and data-heavy UIs.
• Partner closely with product designers, front-end engineers, and product managers to ensure the system supports varied use cases across multiple product domains.
• Establish and maintain scalable governance models and contribution guidelines to ensure consistency and adoption across teams.
• Act as a Design System advocate, driving alignment, education, and engagement across design and engineering disciplines.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 3+ years of experience in product design, including direct involvement in building or maintaining a Design System.
• Experience designing for complex web applications or enterprise tools with a strong emphasis on dashboards, data tables, and interactive visualizations.
• Deep proficiency with Figma, including library and component management, design tokens, and system documentation.
• Strong understanding of front-end development workflows and how design system decisions impact implementation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder alignment skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Experience managing or contributing to a Design System at scale, particularly within a multi-product or enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with documentation tools and design ops processes (e.g., Confluence).
