Marketing Director

Responsibilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert on key product areas, with a comprehensive understanding of both technical and business implications.
  • Contribute to Go-To-Market plans and product releases, managing cross-functional execution.
  • Craft compelling product messaging and storytelling for a variety of customer segments.
  • Produce high-quality, external-facing content, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and website content, among other types of content.
  • Stay ahead of the market: drive ‘always on’ competitive intelligence and market research to inform your strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales and TAM teams to support enablement efforts and improve customer engagement.
  • Work with the Product team to influence roadmap decisions based on market trends and customer insights.
  • Support pricing and packaging strategy by conducting market and customer analysis.
  • Product Messaging & Positioning: Develop and maintain differentiated messaging frameworks for cybersecurity solutions that resonate with technical and executive buyers.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Drive GTM plans for product launches, competitive campaigns, and strategic initiatives; align with sales and demand gen teams on execution.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and deliver impactful content, tools, and training for the sales organization, including battle cards, solution briefs, and customer decks.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead competitive analysis, market research, and customer insights to guide positioning, content strategy, and roadmap influence.
  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with subject matter experts and analysts to create thought leadership content, including whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and conference materials.

Must qualify:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience executing GTM strategies and launching enterprise products.
  • 3+ years of experience marketing cybersecurity products like data protection, identity and access management (IAM), or cloud security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the data security market, including key players, their strengths and weaknesses, and emerging trends.
  • 3+ years of experience identifying customer pain points and developing product positioning that addresses their security needs.

Nice to have: 

  • Product marketing experience in the B2B security, cloud, or SaaS industry.
