Wix Developer

We’re looking for a Web developer with experience working on Wix-based sites who can provide ongoing support and maintenance

For over 10 years, Beetroot has been a trusted partner for companies worldwide to solve their software and tech staffing needs. We have a strong tech community and work with startups and established brands in GreenTech, Healthcare, EdTech, and other impactful industries.

Our client is an immersive virtual events platform integrated into the monday.com ecosystem—designed to host engaging, branded 3D virtual experiences. Their marketing website recently migrated from Webflow to Wix but still faces performance, responsiveness, and analytics challenges. We are looking for a full-time Wix Developer to take ownership, solve existing issues, and implement ongoing improvements.

This is a 3-month engagement with the possibility of extension. If you have the right experience, we’d be excited to hear from you and welcome you to the team.

What you’ll do in your role:

• Work on bug triage, fixes, small/medium changes.
• Fixing responsiveness issues, layout crashes, mobile performance.
• GA4 setup/validation, UTM strategy and management, event/conversion tracking.
• Content and design changes: implementing updates provided by marketing/UI-UX.
• Structure refactoring: improving site information architecture and reusing components in Wix.
• Reporting on basic traffic/conversion dashboards; changelogs and release notes.
• Consulting on Wix feasibility; preparing for potential future platform migration.
  
   

What we’re looking for:

• Proven hands-on experience developing on Wix (Wix Studio/Editor X, Velo by Wix).
• Knowledge of Wix versioning/release process (preparation, backups, rollbacks) and maintaining disciplined documentation.
• Excellent GA4 proficiency: events, conversions, e-commerce (if applicable), cross-domain sharing/tracking hygiene.
• UTM management: taxonomy, tagging process, quality control.
• Responsive design and mobile performance settings setup.
• Experience working directly with marketing and UI/UX stakeholders.
• Good level of English (both spoken and written)

How to knock our socks off:

• Experience with A/B testing setup on Wix;

• Basic scripting with Velo (JS) for custom components/integrations.
