IT Recruiter (Data Engineering and Data Science)

Dataforest is looking for an experienced IT Recruiter who specializes in Data Engineering and Data Science hiring. You will work on niche, high-demand roles and use your expertise and candidate network to help us grow our data-focused team.
Important: We will only consider candidates with proven experience in sourcing and closing Data Engineering and Data Science positions.


Requirements:
- 1,5 + years of experience as an IT recruiter/researcher.
- Experience proven success in hiring Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Established network of Data Engineering/Science candidates.
- Advanced sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and niche tech communities.
- Strong command of Boolean search, X-ray search, and other advanced sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging highly sought-after technical specialists.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher.

Responsibilities:
- Leverage your existing candidate base to identify and engage qualified data engineers and data scientists quickly.
- Actively source and headhunt additional candidates through professional networks, specialized communities, and direct outreach.
- Conduct the full recruitment cycle — from creating job descriptions to closing the vacancy.
- Maintain and grow a high-quality pipeline of Data Engineering talent for future roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to align candidate profiles with project and company needs.
- Track and report recruitment metrics to ensure efficiency and transparency.
