DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven DevOps Engineer (Part-Time) with strong experience in Azure and Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will support our customer’s existing infrastructure while actively engaging in daily communication with the client. This role requires someone who is technically confident, reliable, and able to operate independently in a client-facing setting.
We need a part-time tech expert: up to 20 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities 👨💻
- Support the Customer in maintaining and troubleshooting their existing infrastructure
- Participate in daily communication with the Client to address ongoing needs and updates
Act as an independent communicator, capable of managing discussions, clarifying requirements, and providing updates to the Client without the need for internal supervision or mediation
Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role 🤓
1. Practical experience with Azure networking, including a solid understanding of:
- Virtual Networks (VNet)
- Application Load Balancer (ALB)
- Azure Firewall and other network-related services
2. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
3. Experience with GKE or EKS is acceptable but less ideal
4. Proficiency with Helm charts for Kubernetes configuration and deployment
5. Familiarity with Grafana and writing monitoring queries in PromQL
6. Strong communication skills (English B2+) and a solid work ethic
Nice-to-Have:
1. Experience in optimizing load and performance in Kubernetes clusters
2. Practical experience with any of the following tools:
- Karpenter (Kubernetes autoscaling)
- Backstage (developer portal)
Crossplane (infrastructure as code for Kubernetes)
