Backend Developer (Node.js)

Location: Office / Hybrid / Remote (remote possible if the candidate is ready to use a time tracker during the trial period)

A Ukrainian IT company with over 10 years of experience. We operate in outsourcing, outstaffing, and product development. Our core expertise lies in CRM/ERP systems, as well as mobile and web development.
Responsibilities:

• Develop new features according to project requirements
• Maintain and optimize existing codebase
• Plan tasks in Jira, participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, QA engineers, and account managers
• Conduct code reviews and follow coding standards
• Work with Git version control
• Write unit/integration tests and maintain proper test coverage
• Take part in team testing and feature demos to clients

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• 1+ year of experience with Python
• Understanding of SCRUM and Lean principles
• Ability to work independently, estimate tasks, and deliver results
• Basic understanding of project architecture and business logic
• Experience in client communication and technical interviews

Language:

• English: Confident spoken level for direct communication with clients
