We’re now hiring a Mid-Level AI Automation Engineer with strong backend development skills to help us build and scale intelligent systems for growth. You’ll be working remotely with a tight-knit, high-performance team where your work directly impacts our clients’ pipelines and revenue.

The Role: Backend Developer with Automation Superpowers

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who writes clean, scalable backend code and enjoys integrating systems to create intelligent automation workflows. You’ll work closely with our automation architect and AI engineers to build, test, and deploy backend logic that powers everything from CRM enrichment to real-time ad optimizations.

You are first and foremost a Node.js backend developer, but you’re also curious about low-code automation and AI tooling—and you’re excited to build systems that do more than just run.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain backend services in Node.js, supporting real-time data flows and microservices.
• Engineer secure, scalable API integrations with CRMs, ad platforms, analytics tools, and internal databases.
• Work within and support automation workflows in tools like n8n (experience is a bonus).
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate tools like OpenAI and Gemini via API for intelligent task automation.
• Handle scheduling, queuing, retries, and error handling logic in backend systems.
• Deploy, monitor, and debug backend services in production environments.
  
   

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a backend developer.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript (Node.js), especially with asynchronous programming and REST API consumption.
• Deep experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, joins, queries, and optimization.
• Strong comfort with JSON, data manipulation, and API authentication (OAuth, API keys).
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Bonus: Experience with automation platforms like n8n or Make.com, and Zapier.
• Bonus: Experience building internal or client-facing dashboards using libraries like React, Next.js, or charting tools (e.g., Chart.js, Recharts).
• Bonus: Exposure to AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) or interest in AI workflows.
