Marketing Researcher and Analyst

We are an outsourcing company partnering with fintech and crypto businesses. The Marketing Analyst role is a part of a client project specializing in the cryptocurrency area. You’ll join a Marketing department team, which consists of eight people.

Requirements:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications.
Specialization: 2+ years of experience as a Marketing Analyst.
Domain: 1+ year of experience in the crypto domain. 
Research Skills: Ability to extract key insights from complex data and unstructured sources through deep-dive competitive research and data-driven validation of strategic hypotheses.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis.
Marketing Skills: Deep knowledge of Google Analytics, Looqme and principles of social media work, SEO, Similarweb/Ahrefs/Semrush, and marketing analytical tools.
Analytics Tools: Proficient with Looker/Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools.
English Proficiency: B2 level or higher.


Nice to have:
Experimentation Skills: Ability to design and run marketing experiments, build and test hypotheses, and apply A/B testing methodologies to validate impact.
Crypto Research Tools: Strong knowledge of crypto data sources (Dune, Glassnode, CoinGecko/CMC), with hands-on experience using DEX platforms and blockchain explorers for in-depth analysis.
Brand Monitoring Tools: Experience with creating and supporting a system of brand monitoring with such tools as RSS/API and scraping.

 


Responsibilities:
Competitive Monitoring: Track and analyze competitor activities across digital channels to extract strategic insights that inform and optimize our marketing and operational strategies.
Market Research: Stay updated on trends and competitors, generate growth ideas.
Marketing Analytics: Analyze marketing datasets to evaluate campaign effectiveness, KPIs,  and user behavior. Identify trends and optimize ROI.
User Behavior Analysis: Conduct cohort, funnel, and churn analyses to find growth opportunities, optimization and reduce bottlenecks.
Strategic Partnership: Provide CMO with up-to-date  data mining to improve marketing data-driven strategies and growth hypotheses.
Marketing Monitoring: Continuously systematically monitor emerging market trends, technological innovations, and shifts in user behavior as well as brand mentions to anticipate opportunities and share vision of marketing strategy adjustments.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Create clear reports, dashboards, and analyses based on marketing and business development needs.
