Senior Backend Engineer (NestJS) Offline

We’re urgently looking for a strong Senior Backend Engineer with solid experience in NestJS to join our team in the fast-paced esports domain. The product is high-load and performance-critical, so we need someone with deep backend expertise and a strong ownership mindset.

Interview process:
2 quick stages – Recruiter screen → Technical interview.

✅ What You’ll Do

• Build and scale robust backend services with NestJS, applying best practices (modular design, DI, middleware).
• Design complex PostgreSQL schemas and manage migrations, JSONB structures, and relationships.
• Configure and optimize Elasticsearch for multilingual full-text search with analyzers and stemming.
• Ensure reliable sync between PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch (via queues/manual sync).
• Develop and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a big plus).
• Implement authentication, rate limiting, and access control.
• Use Redis for caching, rate-limiting, and background job queues (e.g., Elasticsearch sync).
• Write clean, well-tested code with Jest or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to system architecture.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in high-load / real-time environments.
• Strong production experience with NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Deep understanding of system design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and async job processing.
• A proactive mindset, product-oriented thinking, and ownership mentality.
• English: B2+, able to confidently communicate technical ideas.
