Senior Node.js Developer Offline

🚀 We’re looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our core team and help build a fintech product from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex backend challenges, designing integrations, and contributing to high-level architecture decisions.

You’ll be working on a live product that directly impacts business outcomes — no abstract tasks or endless MVP loops. Your code will matter.
 

Must-have requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial development experience with Node.js and TypeScript (Nest is optional)
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party services and designing/writing APIs
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Ability to read architectural documentation, work independently, learn fast, and handle large tasks autonomously
   

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing product features from scratch
• Building integrations with third-party financial and technical services
• Developing public-facing payment services and internal microservices
• Contributing to key platform-level technical decisions
• Following and promoting best engineering practices within the team
   

Nice to have:

• Experience in the finance domain
• Background working with microservices
• Writing and maintaining automated tests (Unit/Integration/E2E)
• Experience with high-load systems
• Solid understanding and application of OOP, SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
