System Engineer Offline

This work will have both hardware and software aspects. From Hardware perspective the work will include analysis of system design, creating power models and conducting measurements on real devices, from Software - modifying firmware and ensuring right components configuration are chosen to achieve optimal balance between performance and consumption.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Measuring power consumption on system / block / component level in various operating modes

-Characterization and modeling of power consumption

-Analysis and optimization of system design

-Modifying firmware for SoCs and MCUs, configuring PMICs with the goal to optimize power consumption

-Working closely with other engineering groups

-Writing required reports and documentation

Qualifications and Skills

-MS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field

-3+ years of experience

-Practical knowledge of circuit design principles and power optimization strategies

-Experience in applying energy-saving techniques in electronic systems

-Understanding of electrical engineering standards and specifications

-Embedded C skills required, Python / Matlab programming knowledge would be a plus

-Experience with precision measurement equipment would be a plus
