Full-Stack Developer (PHP + Node.js) Offline

We’re CustomTech — a remote-first software company working with clients across Europe and the US. We’re currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer (Laravel + Node.js) to join our team and contribute to a long-term ERP platform in the travel domain (multi-tenant architecture, AWS-based).
Tech Stack
- Backend: PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Redis, Docker
- Frontend: Node.js, Quasar Framework (Vue-based)
- Databases: MySQL + MongoDB (Mongo Atlas)
- Infrastructure: AWS (separate tenant per client)
Tools: Git (Bitbucket), Jira, Docker Compose
Responsibilities
- Understand and maintain the current codebase (Laravel + Quasar)
- Implement small improvements and bug fixes
- Develop and improve modular “plugins” such as:
- Customer Portal
- Supplier Portal
- Reseller / Partner Portal
- Work within a multi-tenant environment (shared codebase with per-client configs)
Collaborate with the team and client to deliver well-scoped features
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with PHP (Laravel)
- Experience with Node.js and Quasar Framework (or Vue.js)
- Confident use of MongoDB and MySQL
- Familiarity with Docker for local development and service containers
- Experience with Git workflows (Bitbucket or similar)
- Ability to work independently and navigate complex codebases
English – B2 or higher
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Redis
- Understanding of AWS environments and microservice architecture
- Basic DevOps knowledge (deployments, environments, configs)
Domain knowledge in Travel: tour operations, hotel/ship inventory, DMCs, rentals (e.g., snow scooters, cabins)
