REQUIREMENTS

• Must have:

  • Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience;
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications;
  • Expertise in Playwright for web automation using TypeScript/JavaScript, including ability to set up frameworks and integrate with CI/CD;
  • Solid experience with testing consumer-facing applications;
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working across multiple agile squads;
  • Experience testing native mobile applications and websites;
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to write and maintain test cases in Xray or similar test management tools, and build test plans and bug reports;
  • Experience with version control systems like Git;
  • Ability to clearly explain code logic and performance considerations.
     

  Nice to have:

  • Experience testing third-party integrations;
  • Familiarity with VPN usage to simulate business logic in different user locations;
  • Experience testing user payments;
  • Mobile automation experience with Detox;
  • API automation using RestAssured;
  • Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or other cloud-based testing platforms;
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure;
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6);
  • Understanding of security testing principles.
     

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Strategy & Execution: Design and maintain test plans for functional, regression, mobile, database, and API testing across devices and browsers.
• Test Automation Development: Build and enhance automation frameworks and test suites using Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, and Detox with TypeScript/JavaScript and Java.
• CI/CD Integration: Incorporate automated test suites into pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Test Management & Reporting: Manage test cases and reports using tools such as Xray, Mira, or Zephyr.
• Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and UX teams to clarify acceptance criteria and maintain high quality standards.
• Bug Triage & Prevention: Log, prioritize, and advocate for defect fixes and preventive improvements in Jira.
