Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure Offline

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant Azure-based infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Implement DevSecOps best practices for security and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment, testing, and release processes.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve DevOps capabilities.
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3+ years focused on Azure.
  • Strong experience with Azure services: AKS, Azure Functions, App Services, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, etc.
  • Hands-on with IaC tools: Terraform (preferred), Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Proficient in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and identity management in Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.
  • Knowledge of fintech regulatory requirements and experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Familiar with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, App Insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).
  • Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio) or API gateways.
  • Background in financial services, banking, or insurance domains.
  • Exposure to zero-trust security models and modern authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
