We're a small, dynamic team looking for a passionate Junior Platform Engineer who's excited about infrastructure and DevOps, and eager to grow into a skilled DevOps engineer. You'll work directly alongside our senior engineers on real projects, getting hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system reliability.

About This Opportunity

As a small company, we provide direct mentorship from experienced developers who are invested in your growth. You won't be lost in a corporate training program – instead, you'll be working on real infrastructure from day one, with senior engineers guiding you through challenges and helping you develop into a well-rounded engineer with a clear path toward DevOps expertise.

What You'll Do

• Help maintain and improve our AWS infrastructure and deployment processes
• Work on CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Learn and implement containerization with Docker
• Contribute to both backend and frontend codebases to understand the full stack
• Work directly with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements
• Participate in code reviews and infrastructure discussions
• Gradually take ownership of platform features as your skills grow

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go, or Bash)
• Interest in cloud platforms and infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
• Ability to work from our Ivano-Frankivsk office

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
• Basic Docker knowledge
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python)
• Understanding of security best practices

• Frontend: React, React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Nest.js/Node.js (primarily), with some Python and Go projects
• Cloud: AWS
